About Us
Velma, my mom, always called me Joy. Reflecting with others after her passing, several mentioned how she told them I gave her joy throughout her life. My Godbrother suggested I call my product line "Velma's Joy" and the idea struck home.
She was my first mentor, supporter, and sales person. She was also my first product tester, investor, and financial advisor. Before I became entrepreneurial she instilled honesty and pride in me. She also taught me by example how to set a goal and accomplish it successfully.
Every item I create is handcrafted with my mother in mind. She always expected better than my best and I strive to put joy and love along with my best into every product. I hope to pass some of this joy to you! All skincare products are at least 97% natural.
